A story about a child that touched my heart, please follow link as follows:
Made a Difference
When I was an intern during 2009, I experienced so much. Some of the questions, I wanted to know about children I finally got the answers. I was given the opportunity to work with pre-school students. I enjoyed every moment of working with those children. While being assigned to this classroom, I was also assigned to a student. This child really changed my life. She was five years old and did not know how to spell her name. I really could not believe this. I always thought many children learn to do this around age three. I guess I was wrong. I worked with this child until she knew how to spell her name. We played name games and letter acknowledgment games. She told me, “she like learning”. After hearing that, I wanted to cry. I was touched. I made a difference in someone’s’ life.
