I can say I was not bless with the opportunity to have experience child birth. I have many friends that have experience. When my close friend was sixteen, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. I was by her side from beginning to the end. I love this child like he was my own. She had many difficulties during her pregnancy. I guess because she was so young. I could remember like it was yesterday instead five years ago. I received a phone like 4 a.m on May 16, 2007. I did not know what to do or think. I was prepared but just a little nervous. I rushed to the hosptial to be by her side. When I got there, She was hook up to so many machines, they said because her heart rate drop and the baby. So the next thing to do was have a C section becuse she was close built. I could have seen the fear in her eyes. So we prayed. Around 9:30 a.m, my godson was here. When we saw the first smile on his face, we fell in love at sight. Through it all she thank me for being there for her.
I choosed this example to research the differences in ages between child birth. Do teen mothers always have more difficulties in child birth? Support is a great benefit of child development. Without this some many mothers and children would be so far gone. I try my best to be there for my god son. Because there are things I can do for him that his mother can not. By him seeing me around he sees that I care for him. Child Development plays an important role in the future for our children. I am taking a big part in becoming a role model.

ReplyDeleteYoua are a dear friend for being by her side especially at a time like that. I see that you're a praying person and that's great because prayer can really change some things. My daughter was a little nervous too because her blood pressure kept going up but we prayed and everything was alright. She's 28 years old and says that she's not having anymore after that experience. :-) Hopefully that will change.
